I live in the southwestern area of Wisconsin and have been a river rat all of my life. Fishing has always been a passion of mine and I enjoy fishing for all species. My home or "backyard" waters include Mississippi River pools 7 thru 9.  I am an active member of the River Road Bassmasters and have enjoyed learning from some of the best sticks in the state. My schedule for 2006 includes club tournaments on the Mississippi Pools 4-9, MSBC La Crosse local circuit and possibly a couple BFL's in the area. I also fish in a Wednesday night club called "Jerkin Lips"

I am 25 years old and work at Trane Company in La Crosse , WI as a LAN Systems Administrator. I grew up in Coon Valley , WI  and attended Central High School and WWTC in La Crosse . I have an associates degree in Microcomputer Systems and am looking to pursue a masters in IS/IT administration.

I have been fishing since I can remember. Some of my fondest memories were fishing in the spring time with my family for bullheads along the rip rap. At the age of 15, my uncle would take me out fishing on my birthday every year and that's how I was introduced to the sport of BASS fishing and it has been a passion of mine for many years now. For the past couple years I've been actively fishing local and club tournaments and it's been a constant learning experience.

Last year, I finally got my first Ranger boat and I have it out about 4-5 times a week. I tend to stick around the La Crosse area for the most part during the week, but am looking to travel around to some more lakes in the area on the weekends just to learn different water. I honestly do learn something new every time I'm on the water, whether it be on the river that I've fished all of my life or on a lake that I've never been to. I've always believed in the saying "There is nothing that will make you better quicker than spending time on the water".

I am very open with my thoughts when it comes to sharing lures, patterns and presentations that I find work well. I have grown up learning from many great fisherman who have helped me become the angler I am today and feel it's imperative to do the same with others, especially youth. My main focus right now is to become more consistent on all bodies of water and develop into one of the elite anglers in the Midwest . I have set a goal for myself to eventually get to the next level and compete with the best of them at the Bassmaster Classic. With the proper motivation and effort, I believe anyone can reach their goals.
